Starting from 2016 investors will interact with authorities on the basis of One Stop Shop approach. Investors who are applying for licenses and permits in Kazakhstan shall no longer need to visit various ministries or government agencies. More than 363 permits and licenses will be issued through the One Stop Shop. The One Stop Shop will facilitate investment activities and reduce administrative and bureaucratic barriers.

In 2015 One Stop Shop piloted to provide public services only for the investors implementing priority investment projects. From its start more than 200 meetings with investors were conducted.

Key elements of the One Stop Shop including business processes and step-by-step roadmaps in major industries for organization and legal structuring of investors’ activities in Kazakhstan were developed in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

From 2016 One Stop Shop will be extended to all investors. The Investor Service Centre was opened at the 1st floor of the “Transport Towers” building in Astana in order to facilitate public services provision for investors.

Now the Government of Kazakhstan works on implementation of the One Stop Shop principle for rendering public services to investors in all regions, cities of Almaty and Astana within the Public Service Centers.

In future automation and online service will be provided on the website where an investor will be able to register, obtain necessary information, apply and monitor permits/licenses issuing process online.
